I have been a practicing PT for over 30 years. I have taken a lot of courses and bought literally tens of thousands of dollars of equipment that did not live up to its billing. I took a chance with the ATM2 based on the sincerity of the Hoffman and have to say it works as good as they say.

I am still amazed when I see the increases in ROM and decreases in pain so many people report after just one treatment session. I had a patient this week who had back pain and was told by her health practioner that she had scoliosis and a degenerative L5 disc and needed treatment 3 times per week for 6 months. I saw her only one time, used the ATM2, and at her next visit she had a full painfree ROM. I cannot tell you how relieved she was because the initial diagnosis had her literally in tears.

The ATM2 has confirmed what we in PT have suspected for years; the official diagnosis for back and neck pain is in many cases a guide at best and at worst creates limits in a patient's mind. In the end it is all about pain and function.

I had a patient today ( a retire professional golfer no less) who has significant arthritis in his neck that has severly limited his neck rotation. I thought I would try the ATM2 and see if it would help increase his movement and holy heck it did!! I was stunned!!.

I saw another woman this week who had a very tight and tender right upper trap which was made worse with movement. A couple of days prior to seeing me she had had a 2 hour session with her massage therapist with no relief. I used the ATM and she had marked improvement after one visit and was discharged after 3.

I am also using it successfully to treat patients with complaints of shoulder and hip pain. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. I feel like I am just scratching the surface with this thing.

I know that nothing works for everyone and the ATM2 is not a miracle cure for everyone but I have got to believe there was Divine Inspiration behind the development of this thing.

Steve, I wanted to let you know that since I made the committment to really use the ATM2 my results are getting better and better. What I am most amazed about is how I am able to help cervical patients - rather stunning results actually.

I have also been putting some shoulder patients on it and when I hit the sweet spot it helps them as well. I used to have difficulty achieving painfree spinal extension but since taking the training I am doing well with this. I can't quite put my finger on it but I think the concepts of the ATM vs setup are what made the difference.

Steve, I wanted to touch bases with you and let you know that I am getting absolutely unbelievable results with the ATM. It seems that I have figured out how to use it more effectively after the podcast you presented.

One of my patients was dx with an S1 radiculopathy following a chiropractic adjustment. This woman had been in severe pain since Dec 2006. After one session with the ATM she felt relief and has continued to improve and is simply delighted.

I have other great results as well. it seems that the more I have used it the better my results have become. the concept of the sweet spot has helped me to visualize things better. I can't put my finger on it except to say I seem to have gotten the hang of this thing. Thanks to you for this great instrument!!

Steve, I couldn't agree more. I like the idea of this being a concept vs a methodology. It most certainly is some sort of a neuromuscular facilitator. It kind of puts what you think you know upside down. I also like the ease of use.

Anyone who is not getting results simply is not using it. I would like to know more about treating cervical patients.
